Kryshe – March Of The Mysterious

Four panel, gatefold CD Digipak with clear plastic tray. Printed on the reverse side of the card for that nice textured finish... March Of The Mysterious is a new album by German artist, Kryshe (Christian Grothe). The album stems from music made to accompany a showing of the 1915 silent film, Alice In Wonderland. Straddling the worlds of modern classical, avant-jazz and ambient music, multi-instrumentalist Kryshe plays piano, brass, guitar and percussion with a hefty dose of electronic processing to produce music every bit as enchanting as Lewis Carroll's tale. Live performance is an important aspect of Kryshe's music. Since his last album (Insights for Unperceived Records) followed a more traditional, studio-based approach, Christian was keen to bring some of his techniques from live performances into the studio for March Of The Mysterious. Blurring the lines between composition and improvisation, spontaneity and deliberation, the resultant music feels measured but alive.

    Morgen Wurde – Assassinous Act

Weather patterns around the world are shifting…and although it’s fortunately cooler than usual here in California this summer, tempers are still on the rise, tensions ride high, and criminal intent is always in the air! Our latest release reflects these sentiments…and for TRS072 we are bringing back an artist that we released last year. We are very pleased to re-welcome Morgen Wurde, aka Wolfgang Röttger, and his latest release, Assassinous Act! We had told Wolfgang earlier in the year that we would be doing a “crime release” of sorts in the near future, and he promptly and enthusiastically agreed to compose a fictitious soundtrack for us to this non existent crime that is reflected in the packaging for TRS072. He has done a fantastic job to that effect! Dark and ominous at times…mysterious and reflective at others…the thirteen tracks here take us through the conception of the crime, to the actual acting out of it and beyond, to a final redemption and reckoning of sorts. With his "accomplices", Maria Estrella Aggabao and Georges-Emmanuel Schneider, he has indeed provided us with a fitting soundscape to this release!

Astrïd & Rachel Grimes – Through the Sparkle

After years of mail and email back and forth over the ocean, from Nantes to Kentucky, astrïd invited Rachel to come for a residency to make music together and play shows in France. They gathered for a few days, here and there, in 2012 and 2013 to write songs in Cyril and Vanina's home studio in the countryside. The compositions found on Through the Sparkle glow with a unique, connected energy and a pure, instinctive musical understanding. Considered contributions from all sides allow the pieces to unfurl naturally. Each note and phrase feels like it simply couldn’t be placed anywhere else in the album.

    Ludmila – 1 Day 1 Track

Each highly limited collectable Whitelabrecs release is built around a set format as follows: 50 x vinyl-effect CDrs with card vinyl-style sleeves, rubber stamped titling, a polaroid print of the cover artwork housed inside a plastic case to keep it looking mint. Ink, font style and sleeve colours will vary for each release, chosen by the artist. In ‘1 Day 1 Track’, Jori set about recording one track every day for a week in which he describes it as the ‘best holidays ever’. Each track on the album is a cropped section of a recording session that lasted from between 10 and 20 minutes, a process repeated each day. In one very peaceful week, Jori recalls playing free from thought, with the takes being improvised without the aid of a computer. Often when artists embark on the creative process, rules and pressure are applied and a lack of quality time devoted to one’s craft can breed frustration. By taking time out during his holidays for just a short period each day, the music flowed and a beautifully cohesive album was born.

    Steve Pacheco – The 4th

Each highly limited collectable Whitelabrecs release is built around a set format as follows: 50 x vinyl-effect CDrs with card vinyl-style sleeves, rubber stamped titling, a polaroid print of the cover artwork housed inside a plastic case to keep it looking mint. Ink, font style and sleeve colours will vary for each release, chosen by the artist. The 4th is an album themed around cherished memories, loss and letting go as each track is deeply connected to memories he experienced during his time in Sante Fe. The first three tracks are set in Santa Fe whereas the final piece ‘Completion’ is a reference to Steve’s return to Los Angeles for a new job opportunity. The title of the album is a reference to the Chakra system, with the fourth of these being the heart. Whilst the deeply personal events and circumstances that inspired the work within this album may not translate to you the listener, it is intended that the material will inspire memories and feelings dear to you as the warm textures will envelope you.

    Sea Trials – ST

Each highly limited collectable Whitelabrecs release is built around a set format as follows: 50 x vinyl-effect CDrs with card vinyl-style sleeves, rubber stamped titling, a polaroid print of the cover artwork housed inside a plastic case to keep it looking mint. Ink, font style and sleeve colours will vary for each release, chosen by the artist. The self-titled Sea Trials album is the debut from Irish born, Hungary based artist Ian McCarthy who has previously released in the Techno field under monikers Romart and Wilhelm on labels such as Flux Recordings, Nice Try Records and I Had An Accident Records. Sea Trials was spawned in 2015 as the foundations for Ian’s idea began with him creating a pool of material to draw from as he planned a number of recordings and we’re pleased to present his eponymous debut album to serve as the perfect introduction to this sound. The 9 tracks were created from source material recorded to old or damaged cassette tapes which were treated by either being left outside exposed to the elements, by being burnt or submerged in salt-water for long periods. Inevitably, the deterioration of sound and medium became a crucial part of the process and became the concept: decay and rebirth.

    Guenter Schlienz – Peace

Over several years, Guenter Schlienz has graced labels such as Constellation Tatsu, Sacred Phrases, S.I.N.K. CDs, SicSic, Preservation so we are very excited here at Rural Colours to be added to that list with his latest work Peace. After noticing that several friends had begun to end emails marked 'Peace', Guenter Schlienz, ever full of questions, started to ponder on the meaning of the word in this context. Around the same time he started to read Henry Miller's book 'The Collossus of Maroussi' and was intrigued by a couple of paragraphs devoted to exactly this question: what is "the meaning of peace". He came to the conclusion that there is much more to "peace" than just the absence of war. The albums track titles are words by Henry Miller, and the work is Guenter's humble attempt to gather sounds and atmospheres around those lines. Using modular synths combined with tape loops, analog and digital delays, vintage electronic organ and guitar, Schlienz works within a romantically inward looking framework, creating music that comes from deep within. His compositions reflect themes of tenderness, alienation and homecoming and feature a range of guest musicians including Masako Kamikawa (piano on 'Reverberation of the Pandemonium') and Niko Lazarakopoulos (guitar on 'Faint Whispers') and even an anonymous busker from the streets of Stuttgart on 'Who Put the Demons There?'

Josco & Spheruleus – Folded Distance

"Folded Distance is a record about travel, but it is also about staying where you are and staying where you feel you belong. One of us moved around a lot and the other stayed relatively still; although we were geographically separated, we could communicate instantly across the incredible land mass between us - the more we set about weaving Josco's drones and the exotic sounds of Asia with the sleepy rustic fields of Lincolnshire and Spheruleus' instruments, the more the concept of 'folding distance' became apparent to us, and the more it became realised by us. We settled on a mutual appreciation of maps and had the idea that folding the pages of a map or atlas would bring the two points of the two locations closer. We were dealing with enormous distances, that 200 years ago would have felt impenetrably foreign and unreachable. Through technology and discussion, we were able to bring the sounds and the atmospheres of these two places and our own roles within these places together. Field recordings and track titles are taken from Thailand, Turkey, Austria, UK, Ireland and Morocco. Over the five year recording period, both of us grew and changed. The record is about that five year period, ourselves, the changes we went through, the places we were and how they were at that time and our communication and vision for the album during this time." - Josco & Spheruleus - May, 2017

    Taylor Deupree – Somi

    ,
The release comes packaged as a deluxe CD inside a 20-page hardbound book of Deupree’s photographs that inspired the creation of the music... For the music, made with a small number of instruments (electric piano, glockenspiel, DX7, handheld cassette recorder) Deupree originally set out to create a follow-up to his classic album Stil.. Steeped in subtle repetition and soft electronic sound, Stil. explored themes of time and change. However, Stil. was created with purely electronic means - software synthesizers and looping algorithms which explored the then-novel frontier of DSP based “microsound.” With a strong desire to bring the aesthetics of Stil. to his current way of working Deupree used no software or automatic looping, instead opting for the imperfections of creating “loops” by hand. The result is warm and quietly decayed work of spare, discreet tones and dozens of interwoven slow polyrhythms that create repetitions that constantly fall apart and shuffle themselves back together. While these ideas of phase relationships are not new in music, nor to Deupree’s catalogue of work, it was the way he approached the composing that was different, and more challenging, than his work in the past. Wrapped up warmly in the sonics of cassette players and cheap built-in speakers, Somi’s dusty melodies sit quietly, but uneasily, and question the passing of time and present one of Deupree’s most alluring albums to date.

    Gareth Dickson – Orwell Court

Gareth Dickson is ghostlike. From the dark outskirts of Glasgow he has sent three studio studio albums in to the world - Collected Recordings (2009), The Dance (2010) and Quite A Way Away (2012). These albums have bewitched a growing inner circle, including some of the most innovative musicians around today - Juana Molina and Vashti Bunyan to name just two. Gareth has been the only constant member of Vashti’s touring outfit over the past ten years and latterly they have stripped down to a duet on their worldwide travels. Vashti indeed makes a spectral apparition on the first track of Gareth’s new album Orwell Court. Gareth Dickson’s music is both beautiful and dark. A quiet Scottish melancholy underpinned by a grace and ethereal purity paired with a unique impression where the delicacy of Nick Drake mixes with the openness and space Brian Eno. Gareth’s music is often stripped down to the spare elements of voice and acoustic guitar, but a complex and mysterious music hides beneath the surface, demanding but generous and surprising. Clearly picking up where his previous albums left off, Gareth throws in a few surprises. Gleaned from his time spent touring and experimenting between albums the addition of a drum kit, some keyboards and guest vocalists enrich the palette. But fear not, these elements, while previously unheard of in his music, are approached with the subtlety that his listeners expect. They are a texture that adds dimension throughout the album. The hush is still there in its most genuine form.

Vitiello / Berg – Between You And The Shapes You Take

Between You And The Shapes You Take is the second collaborative album by Richmond based musician/sound artists Stephen Vitiello and Molly Berg. As with the duo’s previous release, The Gorilla Variations (12k2013, 2009), tracks are created out of improvisations and sculpted through editing. Molly Berg’s clarinet and vocalizations tend to cover the CD’s lyrical content while Vitiello’s guitar and processing covers a good deal of the textures. Two of the tracks on the CD feature violin by the multi-talented Hahn Rowe, once a member of the group Hugo Largo. There’s an immediate air of melancholy and longing to a number of the tracks. An initial demo recording for the album was remarked on by a listener who said “I’ve fallen face first into a machine that erases the memories of an ended relationship as if it were a sound instead of a real life that fell in love with the girl again in the end.” A strange amount of truth exists in that statement and the entirety of it was momentarily considered as the album title. Instead, Between You And The Shapes You Take is a borrowed quote from Wallace Stevens’ poem The Blue Guitar.

    Illuha – Interstices

Start with a room, a cleanish one, not too rustic, not too slick, and then fill it with tools, fill it with anything that can be used to make other things. Put the room in the forest, but not too deeply in, let’s have the city on the distant horizon. Then, let’s have two craftsman, artists, explorers. Tell them a bit about where the room is, but not exactly. Make them find it, together. When they finally do they will embark on their creations, but it won’t be the immerse-and-shut-yourself-off-from-the-world type of creation. To them, creation involves talking, travelling, experiencing, not just working. They are Illuha and this hints at how they operate. They are true musicians and artisans with a slew of talents that become all twisted and morphed when combined. On their 2011 debut, Shizuku, their room was a century-old church in Washington state and their tools; whatever instruments they could haul over from Japan and the pianos they were lucky enough to find inside. As creators they have an obsessive attention to detail but also know that the strength of creation doesn’t always lie merely in the act itself. Illuha knows the power of communication.

    Illuha – Akari

Akari is the third album from Tokyo duo Illuha. Following 2011’s debut Shizuku (12k1067) and 2013’s Interstices (12k2028), Akari takes the next artistic step for the band. While Shizuku was recorded in the US and completed separately by the artists, Interstices captured the duo creating their exceptionally detailed music together live during a Japaneses tour. Akari, in turn, is the first studio album where Illuha recorded and mixed together, throughout the entire process. The beautiful st-robo studio in Tokyo put a collection of amazing equipment at their fingertips, from vintage mics and outboard gear to a vast collection of instruments, both acoustic and electronic. Their writing sessions were numerous and long with details meticulously obsessed over for nearly a year. The result is the most bewildering music Illuha have created to date. An album swimming with the most delicately tactile sounds and instrumentation that draws the listener in with hushed, motionless attention.

Solo Andata – In The Lens

In the Lens, Solo Andata’s fourth full-length album, was born from recordings found in the interstices of decades-old hard drives, lost email threads from disused accounts, and forgotten samples recorded on cassette dictaphones. These fragments were combined and re-worked with newer elements to create an album very much in the spirit of the band’s debut Fyris Swan (Hefty Records, 2006), an album touched by both folk and jazz and swathed in a dusty, narcotic haze. Solo Andata’s Kane Ikin and Paul Fiocco have always pushed aside the digital studio in favor of a more haphazard and hands-on workshop vibe to their productions. They prefer near-broken acoustic instruments, cheap microphones and, as can be witnessed by their live performances, tend to turn anything they can get their hands on into a beautiful sound-making object.

Federico Durand – A Través Del Espejo

It’s no accident that Federico’s music has a dusty air of nostalgia surrounding it. It has always been a very personal affair. Songs inspired family, local life and the world around him are woven by hand with a selection of very physical instruments. He works like a craftsman, piecing together fragments of sound from cassette recorders, small instruments and loopers and creates music that’s as softspoken as he is. No pretenses, no disguises, just the most honest and down-to-earth music that can be made. Broken melodies spinning from tape reels, the sounds of bells and small found objects being played with care... The music is as beautiful as it is introspective, like a small window of antique glass looking right into Federico’s soul.

Taylor Deupree & Marcus Fischer Twine

The instrumentation on Twine is simple - electric piano, bells, stringed instruments... With careful and deliberate physical manipulations the sounds is subtlely abstracted, as can be heard on “Buoy,” where the tape machine mechanics themselves join in the recording to create a piece suggestive of the abandoned dock the two photographed in Iceland a couple of years earlier as it quietly knocked against the cold winter shore. Imagery like this abounds through the tracks. Slow, haunting melodies under a layer of warm tape hiss and accidental physical sounds give the listener plenty of room for imagination, reflection and the stirring up of lost memories. The intimacy of the tape loops combined with the lonliness of the sounds gives Twine a complexity beyond its simple form. Deupree and Fischer have created a intensely focused new work that draws upon all of their creative interactions since their 2010 debut.

It is packaged in a lovely hand-stamped 127mm x 127mm 360 gsm olive cardboard envelope with the front cover image printed on a polaroid style photo paper and an insert sheet containing tracklist and information printed on a 190 gsm mocha brown cardboard. It also comes bundled with a download code coupon and a Sound In Silence card. Secret Hopes is a wonderful collection of exclusive new tracks in conjunction with reworked versions of tracks from the highly acclaimed Hope album which was released earlier this year. The new tracks were recorded during the Hope sessions, a really creatively intense and productive period for Brave Timbers, and were intended for this album but missed the cut late in the day. The reworked tracks came as a result of following an invitation from national Australian Radio ABC to do a couple of session tracks for a radio show. This invitation gave the duo the impetus to look again at a number of tracks trying something quite different, so they not only recorded two tracks for this radio session but finally reworked about half of the tracks of Hope album which they present on Secret Hopes.

Leigh Toro – Layers of Ash

Leigh Toro has been producing music for the past twenty years. Back in the day he recorded under the guise of Flotel and released works on the excellent Expanding Records. More recently he has been recording under his own name and has had albums out on Eilean Records and Handstitched. We are excited here at Rural Colours to bring you his latest work Layers of Ash, an album of frayed granular resonances. Layers of Ash started life as a series of short improvisations which were then woven together to create more developed pieces. Leigh tells us that he is currently producing longer form pieces of music that explore the textural qualities of digital distortion, bit reduction and resonance. He enjoys exploring the balance between the harsh noise and more subtle delicate sounds and how that balance can evolve over a longer period than he has worked on before.

All the artists who provided a remix for 'Re:composition' had previously released music on the label Dronarivm. By bringing together a creative group aligned to Dronarivm it is my hope that the record will fulfil the expectations of music lovers of ambient and drone". - Bartosz Dziadosz (Pleq)

    Pausal – Avifaunal

Taken as a whole, the resulting album is a diverse affair but could be said to have more in common with their heavier work to date (such as "Forms", 2012) combined with an appreciation of texture (previously evident on "Sky Margin", 2013) than the ambient material they are perhaps better known for ("Lapses", 2010 and "Along The Mantic Spring", 2014). From the crackling drone fog of "Murmuration I" and darkly psychedelic "Murmuration II" - through to the urgent percussive metallics on "Scatter" and serene synth-scapes of "Soar"; there is a wide ranging sound world here for the listener to experience and just as the title of the record suggests, they are encouraged to allow mind to take flight...

    Olan Mill – Cavade Morlem

“Writing and recording ‘Cavade Morlem’ was one of the smoothest experiences I’ve had producing an album. The tracks were originally created to be played at a handful of concerts throughout the end of last year. The shows were performed using processed guitar, violin and some pre-recorded samples of voice and organ. I was joined by Mike Jessop on violin for many of the songs and his contributions are sampled at various points on the record. I spent the beginning of the year reworking recordings from the live sets and trying to piece together something coherent. The resulting album is a far calmer experience than the original performances and I hope listeners find a state of mindfulness while experiencing the work”. - Alex Smalley

    James Murray – Killing Ghosts

    ,
This comes in our 4 panel reverse board card package in an edition of 500. In the spring of 2014 my wife and I stayed at a remote log cabin in the Black Mountains. Anne was taken ill from the moment we arrived and barely left the bed all week. I’d packed a laptop, small midi keyboard and portable hard disc recorder, and resolved that if we weren’t to have a break together I’d at least salvage something from the trip. I’d spent a lot of time around then thinking about how haunted we are by our lost loved and not-so-loved ones. About how these ghosts can be more than just absences, that they can actually exist in some real sense as shadows cast by our fears and regrets. The horse-whisperer who owns the cabin told us when we arrived of the local belief that up in those mountains the veil between this world and the next is at its thinnest. From the first nightfall to the very end of our stay I felt like the atmosphere in that place was charged, agitated somehow, like everything was on the verge of cracking.

Tobias Hellkvist – Kaskelot: Reissue + Remixes

    ,
One of Tobias’ little known releases appeared on our little sub-label Tokyo Droning back in 2011. ‘Kaskelot’ was a four-track E.P. that was incredibly popular in Japan, and coming housed in locally-sourced packaging, it was one of the highlights of this six-release label that was re-opened just after the Tōhoku earthquake. Being incredibly limited as a Japan-exclusive, the album has long been sold out. We are so happy that we will be releasing the updated edition of a personal favourite release of ours, and one that has continued the fine work Tobias had published for Home Normal with his revered ‘Evolutions’ in 2010, and his follow-up ‘Everything Is Connected’ in 2012. We had discussed a reissue of sorts for many years, and over a number of emails back and forth (and a good old chat in London when Tobias performed at The Vortex for us in March 2013), we came up with a list of remixers to expand on the original pieces which have since been remastered. - Ian Hawgood

Narcisi & Fidanza – The Accordion Sessions

Deluxe digipak version of this release in an edition of only 100 copies... TRS's latest offering is from Francesco Maria Narcisi & Giacomo Fidanza, and is entitled “The Accordion Sessions”. Giacomo has provided the beautifully dense and drone filled accordion ambiances, and Francesco has worked his magic manipulating and processing these sounds, with added field recordings, into a glorious and at times even industrially fueled, expansive wall of aural bliss and intensity. Melodic, and yet fiercely relentless and driving at times. TRS071 is both a fitting soundtrack to these seemingly overpowering days we live in now, and an avant homage to this favorite instrument of more peacefully innocent and nostalgic times.

The Greatest Hoax – Expiration Compositions

Four panel CD Digipak with clear tray, sleeve printed on the reverse for natural matt finish. Performing as The Greatest Hoax, Washington, D.C.-based composer Taylor Jordan debuts a new conceptual album of contemporary classical music. Produced by Rafael Anton Irisarri, Expiration Compositions, his sophomore album presents a brooding yet hopeful take on a soundtrack to a peaceful death. Jordan displays an innately human fear of death through nine sequential tracks grounded in somber piano and ambient textures. Each composition adds nuanced layers of emotional complexity with the addition of a string quartet led by cellist Mark Bridges of Kranky Records. Expiration Compositions melds a fascination with how life ends with brave imaginations of that very process. The result is an album that disconnects the listener from daily life while guiding them gently through that which most frightens them.

    James Murray – Floods Returned

I've always cared more about what's left unsaid, the less certain truths lightened through nuance not statement. It's unsurprising then that scattered throughout layers of the original twenty-one tracks are half-remembered melodies and fragments of what might have been. I knew the final released mixes could only be versions, as definitive as possible but ever fertile for reweighting, rebalancing and reimagining. Simply to recombine a few elements on many of these productions is to invite another composition to spontaneously unfurl, often equally faithful to the spirit of my intent as the original. Artists are all circling their private collection of hopes, fears, dreams and disappointments, looking at this strange assemblage from every angle, pushing and pulling to see what falls out. It's through this focused, sustained introspection that we occasionally get a glimpse of something beyond ourselves, enough perhaps to convert into something worthwhile to say aloud. I'll continue to look inward in my work in hopes of finding this gold of the soul, but here, now, I invite you back to one of the richest veins I've struck to date; to the waters that submerge, the patient, extended hand and the aching foothills of regret. Floods Returned. - James Murray

Dale Cooper Quartet – Astrild Astrild

The Dale Cooper Quartet & The Dictaphones are returning with their 4th album called "Astrild Astrild". Like all of the previous albums, the band recorded the seven pieces at home in Britanny during several sessions between 2013 and 2016. The characteristics of this full-length are classic drone soundscapes mixed with deep tone saxophone parts that became the band's trademark since the release of their debut album in 2006. Slowly paced, the new tracks are following the Quartet's basic structure and classical sound. Apart from that the new full length conceals more live takes including guitars, bass and Rhodes keys and even piano sounds are haunting for the first time at the end of 'Ocho Acenteur'. With these new elements the songs of "Astrild Astrild" are pushed further into a large tunnel of deafening rhythmic parts and field ambiant textures.

Glass mastered and manufactured CD, comes in a 4 panel CD Card Wallet, shrink-wrapped. Additionally included is a printed card with the poem "The time for silver flowers" by Bleach For The Stars... Bleach For The Stars is the dark ambient, drone & industrial project of Benjamin Power, hailing from the UK. His music is best described as an intense, raw and powerfully emotional journey into the dark regions of his mind. Ben uses his art to deal with his past and his life's experiences. Without going into his personal details it is clear to the listener that Ben has had his fair share of tragedy and bleak moments in life. This results in extremely profound musical pieces that create a mencing feeling but also make you appreciate them as something very pure and unreserved. Seldomly has music been such a direct and stark statement as with this album. "The time for silver flowers" is a therapeutic and dramatic expression by an artist who is truly fascinating.

With a decent amount of performances at several French festivals the quintet presents its s/t debut album via Denovali in spring 2017. The cleverly compiled repertoire varies from positively trombone and sax driven jazz parts with a deep sense for sophisticated melodies to calmer, melancholic soundscapes back to beat driven, dynamic, buzzy sound cascades. Sometimes the albums delivers a feeling of a soundtrack for a 70s crime movie - sometimes it sounds like an intergalactic, retro-futuristic trip - always with an ironic and positive view on the own creative work

Paskine – The Shapes of Collapses

The Shapes of Collapses is Paskine’s sophomore album. His debut album Nimod was released in 2014 by VoxxoV Records. His new album is composed of ten tracks (and two bonus tracks) mirroring the different shapes of collapses and explosions. It is a die-hard work striving to reach sound abstraction as close as possible, and it sometimes achieves this goal. As a result, the melodies, the rhythmics, and the other repetitive elements constantly evolve until they collapse and drown in their own sonorous and abrasive streams. It only comes to mutation and the evolution of sounds. Consequently, this album can be equated with a repetition of cycles freely inspired by natural disasters such as the melting of ice caps, volcanic eruptions, meteorological anomalies and so on. The sound elements are all exclusively electronic. The Shapes of Collapses is the result of several years of work and research. The latter were accomplished especially thanks to the gmem CNCM in Marseilles, who offered their invaluable help during a research residency in 2015 and 2016.

    Gaetan Gromer – Noise Level

Noise Level is an attempt of sound illustration of this idea and, like in the short story, the library holds a central place. All compositions are built from real sounds recorded in ordinary libraries. After transformation, these heterogeneous sounds blend into a new environment, where a coffee machine might as well be a melodic instrument and the sounds of book handling, a percussion set. The creative gesture then represents a link between the concrete manifestations of reality and the imaginaries…

Sadness – Somewhere Along Our Memory.

Limited edition of 63 handnumbered copies only... We are very proud to release the mastered version of this beautiful album, for the first time on Cd with a previously unreleased song & an alternative artwork (first edition released on tape by Depressive Illusions). Over an hour of contemplative black metal along with post-rock soundscapes. A beautiful violence, raw and pure emotions pouring bliss and sadness in your heart, filling your soul with love, hate and a sickened intensity. - DV
