Each highly limited collectable Whitelabrecs release is built around a set format as follows: 50 x vinyl-effect CDrs with card vinyl-style sleeves, rubber stamped titling, a polaroid print of the cover artwork housed inside a plastic case to keep it looking mint. Ink, font style and sleeve colours will vary for each release, chosen by the artist.

The cinematic starting point gave birth to the album’s photographic concept as José found himself regularly surveying his VSCO feed of images. Modulated Tones No.1: Music For Framed Works is a soundtrack for surveying a photographic collection to provide a space for a slow introspective processing of the shots, as thoughts or memories flicker in your mind. This will be a personal experience from one listener to the next and is the ideal environment for this album to be consumed.
